All data is stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is ever sent to external servers.

📅 How do I change dates?

Tap on the date display on the main screen to open the date picker and make changes.

🔔 Notifications not working?

Check Settings → Notifications → Memento Mori to ensure notifications are enabled. Also verify that "Daily Reminder" is turned on in the app's settings.

🌐 How to switch languages?

Tap the flag icon (🇺🇸 / 🇯🇵) at the top left of the screen to switch between Japanese and English.

📊 Where does the final day estimate come from?

Final day estimates are calculated from the average remaining life expectancy for your current age, rather than a fixed life expectancy at birth. Reference values use the male/female remaining life expectancy data from Japan's 2024 Abridged Life Tables (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare). You can also set your own final day freely.

📱 How to add widgets?

Long press home screen → tap "+" button → search "Memento Mori" → select your preferred size. Lock screen widgets are also supported.
